So things have been going well since our last post. We had a lot of family in town for Jason's graduation and the revealing party. The girls have been playing really well together which is fun to watch. Next week I'll be 7months pregnant and am feeling really well. We had a great July 4th. We spent it with three other families and their kids. Some of the kids didn't like the load fireworks, but our girls did great.

Sorry I didn't post again after we went home from the hospital. To sum up the past month. Elise was on oxygen for four weeks so she missed her last month of school. She came off oxygen just in time to attend her graduation although she was too scared to walk the stage, so we stood in the back and watched.
I have started to homeschool Elise with the hope that she will stay healthier, and get caught up on what she is behind in. So far it's going well.
We will find out the gender of the baby this coming Sunday. We are really excited to find out. We'll take a video and post it for all of you to find out too.
Claire is starting to talk and is so cute! She really has a fun personality and is wanting to do things by herself.

Headed home

Well Elise did good enough today that they are letting us go home. She will be on oxygen for another week or more but she has been fever free all day and minimal desats. She will continue antibiotics for another 5 days or so, and follow up in a few weeks. Thanks for everyone's support. Happy Mother's Day!

So Elise had a better night. Only had a fever once. They may send us home tomorrow. She is still having a lot of coughing and desats when she coughs or tries to walk. So they want to keep her here while she is so dependent on oxygen. They also want her to eat and drink more which is a challenge all on its own! I'll update again tomorrow. Happy Mother's Day to all those wonderful super mom's out there!

So Elise has improved since yesterday thanks to some big time antibiotics. We r forcing her to eat today to keep her fluids and energy up and it's going well. Her fevers are no longer constant but she is still having them. The doctors are wanting to get her a few days of iv antibiotics before switching her to oral and hopefully sending her home. Claire's having a great time with our friends who are watching her today. I'll post again tomorrow.

Elise had a great birthday. We actually celebrated it two weekends in a row. Leslie and Joel took her to Disney the first weekend and my parents came this last weekend and we had a party with some of her friends. Both weekends were so much fun. We went to one of disney's water parks one day and then animal kingdom the next. Leslie got her the cutest Mickey and Minnie cupcake cake that was so good. For her party here at home we went to the park and mom and dad rented her a bounce house, and we had a fishing game, and great food. Unfortunately Elise is sick again this week and in the ICU currently with pneumonia. We just got here today so we aren't sure how long she will be in the hospital. I'll update more tomorrow.
