Had some busy weeks lately with doctors appointments and playdates. Elise had her check up with the feeding clinic last week and they were glad to see that she has maintained her weight and increased her height. Our next goal is to gain 2-3 pounds in the next 6 months when we see them again. We also found a 4 bedroom house to move to this summer so we will still be able to accommodate guests even after the baby comes. It will be a nice jump from our current 1600 square feet up to 2200 square feet. We will move June 1st, I'll let everyone know about our new address when the time comes. Tonight we went to an Easter party so Elise could hunt eggs. She was really slow and only got 5 eggs, but she still had fun. But once the Easter bunny came out for pictures, it was time to go! She wasn't having any of the big costume bunny, although she cried almost the whole way home about having to leave him. And I hope you all like her Easter outfit. She has been wearing this Mickey shirt for 2 months now, and the best I could do was put her in a skirt to make it a dress. I'll have pictures of her 3rd birthday on the next blog in two weeks. I hope you all are enjoying springtime! Love you all!

Well Elise and I both had Ultrasounds within the last week, and we both got good results. We finally got her heart echo results on Tuesday. And they showed no change from her echo in January when she was taking the Viagra, which is good. It means that her pressures have not elevated since stopping the Viagra. So now she is only taking Norvasc twice a day and will remain on it for now. Her next echo will be in 6 months as long as everything continues to go well. We will watch her for fatigue when playing and coughing or shortness of breath while running/playing. And I also had an ultrasound today to look at the baby and check for genetic abnormalities. Things looked good on the US, but we have to wait 2 weeks for the bloodwork to come back. The picture is a profile picture of the face with the hands above it. It's amazing that they can get such good pictures at only 12 weeks. The baby was moving all over the place and flip flopping around. It was amazing to watch it move around.

Well we had a great week with my Mom in town. Had a crazy busy weekend, but then it rained the rest of the week, but we managed to remain busy. I didn't take any pictures in the last two weeks which is shocking, so I'm sorry about that. Elise had her follow up echo on Friday, and we are waiting to hear back from her doctor on those results. If it shows that her pressures are high, she will have to go back on the Viagra. I'm expecting the worst, but hoping for the best. I will have another Ultrasound on Wed. so hopefully they will give us a picture that we can post on the blog for all of you. I am feeling better as I end my first trimester, but am still tired enough to take a daily nap. In fact as long as Elise continues to nap, I probably will too!! Elise will have her next appointment with the feeding clinic on Wed the 13th. So we will see if she has gained any weight or height. I'm pretty sure she hasn't gained anything, but also not lost anything. Her speech continues to slowly improve. She is becoming slightly more clear in what she is saying, and still continues to put two words together consistently. Jason will start an O.B. rotation after next week which he is excited about. He is hoping to get to know the nurses well enough that they will remember him come October when we are there for our new kiddo. I hope you all have a great two weeks, and I will post again at that time. Love you all, Kristin.
