Jason got a chance to feed Claire a bottle.  This is significant because we were never able to successfully give Elise a bottle at this age.

Elise loves to sing and play her guitar.

Claire got to swim for the first time.  She LOVED it!

We have had another great couple weeks.  We had a surprise 30th birthday party for Jason and Zac since Jason's parents were in town.  We had many of our friends show up, so there was about 20 of us.  It was a great party.  We have been swimming a couple times and Claire really enjoys it.  She is growing so fast!!  Only 5 1/2 months and already wearing 9 - 12 month clothes!  I have started rice cereal once a day with her and she seems to really like it.  Elise enjoys helping me feed her, and I think will benefit from seeing sister eat like she didn't.  We have a vacation coming up soon and will be seeing the Cardinals play in Juno beach Florida with Jason's Aunt Debbie and Uncle Don.  We are really excited to see them and get in some baseball.  Love you all!  Kristin

You know its time to start buckling your baby into the swing when you walk in the room and find them like this.

We went to a Mardi Gras celebration in our neighborhood, and dressed a little too warm.  It was in the upper 60's, but we dressed like it was in the upper 30's.  Ten minutes later we had shed a few layers.

This is how florida does a Mardi Gras parade......with golf carts.

We made another trip back to Sea World.  And got up close with some friendly dolphins.

So we were having a pretty boring month until Elise got sick with vomiting and diarrhea.  It lasted forever!!!  She is just now eating normal and being active again.  She was one sick little puppy.  Luckily Claire and myself never got anything.  Jason didn't either but by a weird coincidence got food poisoning the same week.  You can believe I was tired of bodily fluids that week.  Other than that we are all doing great.  Claire continues to grow at record speeds.  At her 4 month check up she weighed in at 18lbs and 26" long.  If she keeps this up she'll pass Elise soon.  She is such a happy baby, smiling at anyone who talks to her.  And she's a talker too, or maybe I should say screamer.  She loves to just scream and screech, it's really funny.  She rolled completely over last week, and went swimming in a pool for the first time today.  She kicked and splashed, I think she really liked it.  We have visitors for the next couple weeks and then will be on vacation ourselves, so we should have some good pictures on the next blog.  I hope everyone back home made it through the storm earlier this week without too much loss or damage.  We have been thinking of you all all week.  Love you guys, and I'll blog again soon.
