Claire started pulling herself up in her crib so her mattress is now lower. She has really gotten good at crawling and pulling up. Walking isn't too far ahead in her future!!
My Mom came to visit the end of July and got to spend some more time with her girls.
Elise loves cheesing it up for the camera.
Big sissy hug!
This is Elise's first day of school. She cried everyday when I dropped her off. Hopefully this week will go better. The teachers said she participated more and more each day which is good.
Gary and Gail are visiting this week and Jason took Elise, Gary, Zac, and Miranda on a float trip yesterday. The river is at flood stage due to all the rain we have had but they had a good time. Claire, Gail and myself stayed home and brought everyone lunch and Rum island.
We have had a busy month with visitors and the beginning of preschool. It has been a huge help having Gail and Gary here to help with Claire as I run all over the place taking Elise to school and therapy. When they leave tomorrow I'll really have a crazy week, but I'm sure we'll get into a groove and figure it all out. Elise isn't thrilled about school, but her teachers say that each day she cries a little less and participates a little more. Claire continues to grow and get better and better at crawling and pulling up. She is getting better at walking behind a push toy too. She loves anything Elise is doing and they are already fighting over toys. It's so funny cause Claire is basically as strong as Elise so the pulling fight is pretty even. We will be gearing up for a cross country trip later this month to Washington state for my Aunt's wedding that Elise will hopefully be a flower girl if she will walk down the aisle. We will be stopping in Springfield for a couple days to see family before finishing our trip up to WA. My Grandma Margaret is really sick in the hospital so we are all thinking of her over these next few days to weeks. The doctors aren't sure if she'll make it out of the hospital so we are all waiting and watching day to day. I hope everyone had a great summer as we look forward to fall. Love you all! Kristin
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma. Hope you all have a safe trip to Washington. I'll try and call again soon.
